The air was brisk that September day. The day that beautiful recording artist, Natalie, married funny guy and set designer, Craig. They planned a beautiful home grown wedding on the Beach with the reception at the Beach Club. The bride was lovely in white with orange flowers decorating her hair. The groom, in a tux, kept everyone laughing and having a great time!
The bride wore his grandmother's ruby ring, which after the "I-do's" was crowned with a ruby and gold band. Music from the Paul Turner band played well into the night. The reception was a rocking party from start to finish. The menu lent itself to a progressive over the top cocktail party, called Hors D'inner. The decadent menu featured items such as Vegetarian Spring Rolls and Papaya Mango Mojo, Apricot Spiced Ginger Chicken Wontons with Apricot Dipping Sauce, Kobe Mini Burgers on homemade Brioche, and the grooms favorite, Ahi Sashimi in Avocado and Saki Marinade. With Dinner Stations such as, el Rincon's Soft Taco Bar with Carnitas, Ancho Chicken and Cilantro Tequila Passion Fruit Shrimp and Pasta Bar, this menu had a nosh for every pallet - from the particular to the foodie. If that wasn't enough, the evening was topped off with a to die for cake by La Starr Bakery. One of the flavors was a nod to the brides southern heritage, chocolate and chile!
Capturing the evening was Dara and Austin Curtis ( http://austindara.com/blog/). The wedding was magical, the food amazing and the bride and groom - in love.
